Great selection of drinks and chocolate. I highly recommend the hot chocolate.
A great place to be outdoors, especially when the weather is good. The goodies on offer were excellent.
Very nice and cozy place. We had the Aichental Frühstück and Italienisches Frühstück, both very delicious. The cakes are tasty and fresh too and you have the option to take some with you. Excellent service too! 🙂
Always a great place to have breakfast or a good cake. Always good: the hot chocolate direct from Ritter Sport.
We went to visit with a mask today. In itself a café with potential. Unfortunately, the inside too narrow: Stuttgart is a Corona hotspot - no personal details were asked from all of the guests, and the minimum distances between the tables were not observed. That is, if all guests and staff contract the virus, tracking is not guaranteed. Regulations from the state not observed. For Ritter Sport, this is an indictment. The space cramped and crowded. A guest sat right next to the order counter while I stood next to him and waited. The weather was always drizzly, but at that moment it was dry and you could sit outside under the umbrellas. Unfortunately, the entire terrace was not cleaned, tables were not wiped dry, although 5 tables outside were occupied (about 15 people). A clearing trolley was also not set up outside for self-service. That means you can carry your tray around the entire store again. The waitresses are so stressed and hectic that they run to the staff door to have a cigarette. The cappuccino was only half full and after 4 sips it was empty. Lots of foam, but it collapses again immediately. So of course you make a profit as a company over coffee, but not happy customers. Chocolate on the cup, the company would hardly cost anything and would be sales-promoting, was not included, just like a biscuit etc. Cake was served with convenience buttercream, nice to look at, but no real butter processed. I'm sorry, but I was hoping for more. When the weather is nice, it is nice to sit outside with a view of the greenery, but the flow of visitors will probably think so too. Definitely not to be recommended for us during the Corona period and even afterwards only without great demands.
I really have to think long and hard about the last time I had such a bad and at the same time so overpriced breakfast. Breakfast is served on a plate and is admittedly extremely manageable. For almost 10 euros you can expect not only more quality, but above all more quantity. Since unfortunately only a small piece of butter is enough for 2 rolls per person, I asked for a second piece of butter. This was also delivered immediately. However, I was allowed to pay 1.20 euros extra on the invoice. This is not only naughty, but simply outrageous. When asked, I was only told that these were the regular prices (by the way, nowhere declared or displayed). The operation also seems very unsettled and overwhelmed. A baby changing station is also not accessible. All in all, one can only say that the visit to the café was unfortunately not at all worth it. Hence a clear recommendation to go for breakfast somewhere else.
I didn't feel very comfortable. On the tables there were notes "disinfected", but it wasn't clean. We sat inside and felt like a nuisance as the 2 waitresses were more busy with their family or friends who were also present. A pity ...
Friendly service. Delicious small dishes and snacks, but also cakes. The ice chocolate is a poem.
According to the lady on the phone, a reservation was not necessary the day before our planned visit. On site it turned out that all tables were already reserved. We decided to go to the café because of the breakfast menu that can be viewed online. However, this was only available in an extremely slimmed-down and more expensive version. Under these circumstances, we would not have decided to have breakfast in the Ritter Sport Café, as we would have liked to try dishes with Ritter Sport chocolate. In general, the service seemed very overwhelmed and unfriendly throughout the visit. The breakfast was passable but really not exceptional. The panini was good, the accompanying salad came with a ready-made dressing. The scrambled eggs also appeared to be a tetrapack scrambled egg. The selection of cakes and tarts was very inviting. A further complaint is that card payments are only possible from an amount of € 10 and the guest toilet is not separate.
Was no specialty only the prices low and with cappuccino half the cup is only milk foam that collapses after a few minutes. In addition, the lady was very annoyed and you should never leave it out on the customer or let it be seen in the service despite a bad mood. Well, you can do without the café but the chocolate shop is very nice and in the back there are also great bargains for the "Bruch Ware"
OK for a simple café, but not for THE location, which may serve as a figurehead in the world, where tourists from all over the country and further a day plan a trip. First impression, great, beautiful setting and mega outdoor area. The tables and chairs are getting old, the staff is slow and inattentive, which does not feel it is necessary to clean obviously dirty tables. You then cleaned it yourself after a 20 minute wait the waitress came with little motivation and wanted to take the order, it was now 4:50 p.m. and the waitress said that this was not possible because warm dishes could only be ordered until 5 p.m. After a short discussion, however, she had mercy and asked in the kitchen and it was made possible. Food and drinks came quickly and were okay. What really surprised me, however, was that you didn't get anything for a good cafe, the obvious thing would be at least a piece of chocolate, that's just not smart, because it wouldn't cost the company anything and it would conjure up some happy faces. Furthermore, it is intolerable that the guest toilet is only mixed, really uncomfortable when you stand there as a man and the older lady is frightened because she thinks it is a ladies toilet. I don't think that the Ritter family can claim that ...
Delicious cakes and small hearty dishes. Only the many greedy wasps were unpleasant. The staff did their best to contain the wasp plague and even sacrificed one or the other jam at unused tables to distract the pests. I would be interested to know whether the many wasps are related to chocolate production or whether there are other reasons for it.
Has always worked since then, friendly service, good quality 😃
Always very nice service and good food! Highly recommended ... Reserve in advance, especially for breakfast, is recommended. !!! A star deduction for a current wasp plague there, you can't sit outside and inside you also need a lot of serenity when it comes to these animals!
Very tasty and nice staff! Perfect destination for convertible or motorcycle trips.
Great cake selection. Very nice outside area. Lots of wasps, unfortunately.
Nice café for inside and outside. Terrace covered with umbrellas. Wheelchair built fairly. Afterwards you can go shopping at Ritter Sport. Sunday sale. Always worth a visit.
Super delicious coffee and great cakes / tarts. Hearty Swabian dishes are also available here. The service works with very friendly service.
A good café, actually. The service was very bad today: too slow, not properly listened to, two times you had to say that you wanted to pay. Coffee, tea and cake good
We were back after a long time, just for coffee. Everything was fine and okay, but when paying it was said: Card payment only possible from € 10. That is not possible, therefore 2 star deduction. Fortunately, I had my emergency bill with me.
Calm and green place. You can eat lunch, cakes and drink beer etc.
The cafe had a large selection of breakfast, brunch, and lunch foods, with the appropriate amounts of chocolate sprinkled in. The scrambled eggs are super fluffy!
Staff is not always friendly, depends who is serving. Coffee is okay. Cakes and the special Ritter chocolate drinks are great.
The food are overall nice and at reasonable price. Recommend their salad (salat), plätze (egg noodles), and cheesecake (Käsekuchen) and flat bread (Fladenbrot). Too bad the seats are limited especially during public holiday. No Wi-Fi. EC and credit cards payment are available here.
Yummy and very nice service!!
Nice selection of warm drinks. A few egg and bread options for breakfast, nothing too elaborate. They do have bistro type lunch options as well though (sandwhiches, paninis, salads, etc) The outside seating was nice with a view of nature and not traffic. Museum/Chocolate Shop/restaurant is sectioned off from other businesses so not alot of foot traffic unless it is patrons for Rittersport. Haven't been inside of the Museum but heard that it was a must to experience it. The chocolate store was fun to shop in. A huge selection of flavors and a few other keepsakes.
Always good food here
Swift, kind and attentive staff. Great, yummy and inexpensive food and lots of chocolate
The location is very nice and you can find a wide selection of drinks and dishes for breakfast or a light lunch. The waitress who served us wasn't very kind/welcoming, that's the reason for the 3 stars, otherwise it would be 4/5 stars.
I come here quite often to get something before seeing the art museum. Sadly I'm never impressed with the café. They refuse to serve a warm / toasted croissant. Salads are disappointing. Paninis are okay but kinda pricy. Stick to drinks and get a Ritter Cappuccino. ✖️ 🥗🥐 ✔️ ☕ Don't get me wrong the architecture, schoko shop, and museum are amazing! Just not the best café.
Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast menu is varied and the food is good.
Café was not stunning, but cakes are from confectioner cheeky and recommended. Outdoor seating with sunshades.
We love this place. Best eggs in the area
We have breakfast here and I love their selection. Really nice staff with great service. Fresh and tasty dishes that are super colorful too. Have a salad then later indulge in a hot cocoa with melted candy bar...of your choice. Weekends are very busy, most people make reservations, the only negative you could even mention would be they need a biggee dining room. Yum Also at the end of the hiking/biking trail, so makes for a great day.
Great place for a nice breakfast before visiting the museum. Beautiful view into the park. Friendly service and reasonable prices.
Great food at great price! Came from the airport just to try out the dishes again!
Good food and service, but small place and crowded
Cappuccino with chocolate is awesome!
Great food in a pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly servers. Menu in German and English.
Nice cafe but a bit dated in years. Tables and chairs are now very, very much needed felt and are not really clean (although we have reserved, the table was not wiped only dishes from the previous cleared). Shame. Service very friendly but not really fast. (Too few staff) Cakes / pies excellent and food was so good.
Poor variety of meals. Average furnishing
Great food but hours in the late afternoon/evening are limited. From multiple visits I have pieced together: Kitchen closes 1 hour before the cafe closes and the website is wrong on cafe hours. They close at 1830 BUT from 1730 to close they only do paninis and drinks. If you want the awesome breakfast get there well before 1730.
The staff is very friendly and the menu is interesting. Enjoy beautiful views of the forest on either side of the cafe and still onto the blissful, melted wonder here.
Very nice café! I suppose probably unsurprisingly pretty good hot chocolate. Better selection of chocolate cakes and tortes than at most German cafés. Tasty panini as well!
Very nice spot to have a coffee.
Very nice and relaxing cafe. Definitely recommended, especially on a Monday when the rest of the town is closed :-) We had a delicious panini, two croissants with melted choco bars, and fresh beers. A great experience.
Food and service were both very good!! We enjoyed our visit there and will be back.
The hot chocolate is great because they actually put Ritters chocolates in it. We had Saturday brunch thereNd it was amazing. They have an American menu and every one speaks pretty good English.
